Luxury Car Rentals in Las Vegas - When is the Best Time to Buy on Expedia?

las vegas home rentals

Luxury Car Rentals in Las Vegas - I want to fly to Vegas, drive to LA and then fly home for 4 nights. Price with hotels was around 1400, but I waited a bit looking for a better deal, now it is up around 1800. Does anyone have any expierience as to when/if Expedia (or any other sites) drop pricing? I got a good rate locked in with Dollar Rentacar (las vegas nv rentals) so my car rental is already looked after.

that price sounds about right because you are flying to one desination then driving to la then flying out of LA.. if you were to fly to vegas rent a car and return your car back at vegas it would be cheaper.. because you are being charged for a one way to vegas and a one way from LA back to the destination you are being charged more . instead if you were to leave from your destination to one place and go back home from where you flew into.. it would be a lot cheaper.. also they have packages that include air , hotel and car to vegas and back called charter flights and packages . if you have any more questions please ask.. and it depends on what day you are leaving on the closer you get to your leaving date the higher it can get.. but if you look for last minute travel deals.. you should get a better deal.. hope i help you out.

My experence is that; in most cases, the earlier you book a hotel, the better your rate. As hotels fill up, their prices get higher (supply and demand). Occasionally, the market overprices future dates, based upon past years. In the rare instances of this happening, rates can come down.

Generally speaking; however, book early and keep checking to see if rates have come down. Most hotels will honor the lower rate if one becomes available.
