i stayed in excalibur over the summer and we got it for like $40 and maybe it could have been cheaper. the room was boring but the casino was nice

i live in vegas and when it comes to hotels you get what you pay for you WONT get the best for cheap the best hotels are usually 150+ a night but if your looking for only 35 a night you may get lucky with palace station it’s just off the strip you can even walk but it’s a piece of crap. you may get lucky with the downtown strip like freemont, golden nugget, lady luck.

go to vegas.com I go there when i throw parties. i get 300+ hotel rooms for like a hundred bucks. so im pretty sure the cheapy hotels have even better deals, good luck!

oh n remember a lot of the off strip hotels are really ghetto and people get mugged n stuff so make sure you do some research on the area it’s in

You can advance book Circus Circus right now for those dates for $29.95/night.

That is cheaper than Motel 6!

Book your room using promo codes. Circus Circus as low as $23 /night

Have a look at Excalibur or circus cicu for a few dollars or (somtimes its even cheaper) you can stay in a full servcie resort and you wil actually spend les as you wil spend more time round the pool as they are so much bettter than Motel pools.

Excalibur has sometimes some really good rates. I recommend to check - you will find there the latest Las Vegas hotel promotion codes. Excalibur rates starting sometimes around $40 I guess.

Difficult to answer this question because no really good hotel has prices that low. Especially during Spring Break. You are staying during the week instead of the weekend so that helps, weekends are usually more than twice the rate.

The best I could find is Casino Royal averaging $34 per night (link below) but the only thing I can recommend about it is the price and location. It is right between Harrah’s and the Venetian.

Avoid first floor rooms if you can. There is no room service or turn down service. It is basically like a Motel 6. It has a tiny pool.

This is a no frills kind of place that caters to a younger or poorer clientele. But you cannot beat the location or the price.

You are right in the middle of pretty much everything. If you gamble in the casino, the drink service is very good. Free booze! Just make sure you tip the cocktail waitress at least a buck per drink.

This location is so central, you do not need a car. In fact, renting a car in Las Vegas is pretty expensive. If you are flying in, I would recommend you not rent a car and take a shuttle to your hotel for about $6 and use the money to either stay at a nicer hotel or have fun. If you stay in a hotel right on or near the middle of the Strip you do not need a car.

Traffic is a nightmare. The car rental fee is actually a lot higher than what most car rental companies quote. There are all kinds of additional fees, taxes and this is an important item that most people are caught off guard by. Nevada has a screwy law that holds you liable if anything happens to the car. If you are in an accident, the car gets stolen or even broken into or vandalized, you will be on the hook and forced to pay rental fees for the whole time the car is in the shop.

They offer special insurance to cover this but it costs another $23 per day or more. Consider yourself warned.

I just returned from vegas and we stayed at the Excalibur for like way cheap and the room was actually very nice…The view wasnt all that great but the pillow top matress beds and the big flat screen tv made up for it….The bathroom was awesome if your a female and your going with friends there is plenty of room to get ready in that sucker…Anyway have fun

Excalibur is the best “budget” hotel on the strip. It has great prices with out the nasty motel feel, especially if you upgrade to a Widescreen room. Currently they are running specials for $24/night. Luckily Vegas is hurting right now for tourists so all of the hotels have lowered their rates drastically. A year ago, a sale rate on Excalibur was $51/night.

Check out this website for the absolute best promotion codes by the hotels themselves. They even link you directly to the hotel website to book so there is no middle man or extra booking fees.

Excalibur April 5- 9 $35/night for standard room Total is $170.04
$52/night for Widescreen room Total is $244.16

I have never stayed at Hooter’s Hotel and I don’t know much about it. But it is located less than a block from the strip behind Tropicana, and their rate total for those dates is $134.88

Also, some of the downtown hotels are in your price range. Good Luck and Have Fun! Remember, you won’t be spending too much time in your room anyway. Just make sure they have a good pool area and are accessible to all of the action.

I have to agree with Jacob W. Skip the rental car if all you are doing is going for spring break. And they really do hit you with extra fees when you go pick up the rental, so be prepared to pay more than twice your rate.
Good luck and have fun!

I have stayed at Palace Station and thought it was actually very nice. I think a lot better than Circus Circus that is very cheesy. Palace Station also has a shuttle that will take you to and from the strip so you dont have to use your car because getting around on the strip can be a pain with a car.
