Car Rentals Las Vegas NV – If Renting a Car in Las Vegas with a Pre-paid Visa, Would They Charge Extra?

rental cars las vegas

Car Rentals Las Vegas NV – I know if I use a visa debit, I would have to have a few hundred in the account they could hold, on top of the car rental fees. Would this be the same for a pre-paid visa such as all-access? Or would they just charge it like i used a regular credit card, and only the rental fee? Thanks for any feedback from you las vegas nv rentals.

Call Enterprise and ask. They are generally the cheapest in Vegas.

Are you from the UK ? If so the pre paid should include insurance if it does not then you are going to get a nasty shick when you pick up the car. I know that dollar will not accept debit cards for the deposit only a credit card.

A prepaid visa is the same as a visa debit. They will hold a few hundred dollars and will hold it for several days after you return the car.

Honestly, your pre-paid debit card is more like cash than a credit card. Most car rental companies WILL NOT ACCEPT it. You need to contact the company you are considering and check their policies. In most cases, If you’re renting off-airport, Enterprise will require you to have a phone bill and a pay stub and possibly a blood sample to rent with a check debit card. OK, maybe not a blood sample. I had to bear bad news, but it’s probably better to hear it now than show up at the rental counter and be stuck. If you make arrangements ahead of time, you may be able to leave a cash deposit with Alamo at their airport locations.
