Car Rental Las Vegas NV - I’m planning on renting a car in Las Vegas from Dollar Car Rentals for a week, but I’ll really only need it for 6 days. I want to get the week price because it’s cheaper than renting for 6 days. Is it okay to return the rental car a day early las vegas nv rentals?

Yes you can return the car early, but then you will have to pay the daily rate rather than the weekly rate. You won’t save any money by booking the car longer.
Your statement about the rate for one week being cheaper than for six days really puzzles me. I’ve been renting vehicles for many years, including a number of times with Dollar, mostly in L.V., and I’ve never seen anything like that. In my experience, the rental companies have always charged a daily rate for one to four days, and then the weekly rate kicks in for five to seven.
I just went into Dollar’s website and tested my theory, and it showed just what I thought it would. Try it for yourself and see - I used a rental period in May just as an example. May 8-15, May 8-14 and May 8-13 all come up with the same total. May 8-12 shows 4 times the daily rate.
One other thing - did you by any chance use a Return Time that was later than the Pickup Time? That could add an extra day’s charge.
I work for a major car rental company. For customers in your situation, we would still charge you for the weekly rate instead of the daily rate.
You may want to check with Dollar to make sure they do the same. Some companies may charge you an early return fee as well, and I’m not sure that Dollar is one of them.
